Regular Season Day 31: Lokomotiv - CSKA 63-92

One of the most interesting games of round 31 was a derby match between two teams from Russia. The game took place in Krasnodar where first rankedCSKA outleveled host Lokomotiv (19-11) 92-63 . CSKA made 22-of-24 charity shots (91.7 percent) during the game. CSKA outrebounded Lokomotiv 44-22 including a 28-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. CSKA players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Lokomotiv was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for Guyanese-French Livio Jean-Charles (205-1993) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). American guard Melo Trimble (190-1995, college: Maryland, agency: Pensack Sports) helped adding 16 points. At the losing side American point guard Jeremiah Martin (189-1996, college: Memphis, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 17 points and the other American import guard Patrick Miller (185-1992, college: Tennessee St., agency: Slash Sports) scored 8 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CSKA (26-2) have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. Defending Russian champion maintains first place. Lokomotiv at the other side keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost.
